adidas Originals join forces with Sean Wotherspoon & Hot Wheels for a 3 way collaboration of footwear, apparel & accessories packed with bold graphics & classic flames logos.
Following on from previous collaboration on the classic adidas Superstar & the ZX 8000 the Round 2 founder & vintage connoisseur, Sean Wotherspoon, teams up with adidas once again for August 2022. This time around however it’s the classic model car brand, Hot Wheels, that are thrown into the mix with a triple collab’ collection of apparel & footwear. It was the Nike Air Max 1/97 x Sean Wotherspoon trainer from 2018 that really put the Los Angeles based bearded’ vintage store owner on the map, with resale values of the corduroy trainer still fetching upwards of £800. Wotherspoon then shifted his creative collaboration to the German sportswear brand in 2020, given “die marke mit den 3 streifen” his signature crazy colourways. The latest adidas Originals x Sean Wotherspoon x Hot Wheels collection ignites Sean’s admiration for the classic collectible cars brand from the 1960s with a 3 way collaborations of footwear, apparel & accessories.
Featuring the Superturf Adventure trainer which features detachable patches as well as Sean’s signature bold hues alongside the classic Adilette slide which also gets a dose of the Wotherspoon wizadry. On the apparel & accessories side there’s a classic trefoil race jacket, graphic t-shirts, trail shorts, a bucket hat as well as a tote bag for good measure.
