The stand out pieces of the collaboration comes in the form of the Arc’Teryx x BEAMS Beta Series jacket. Those who know their GORE-TEX from their goggle hoods will know of the significance of the Beta silhouette to the Canadian based brand. Something like the equivalent of the Mountain jacket to The North Face, the tech heavy jacket now gets the Japanese treatment, teaming up with BEAMS for a unique colourblocking style. Packing everything from GORE-TEX & GORE C-KNIT™ backer technology the collaboration Beta series jacket is fully waterproof, windproof & engineered for enhanced breathability. If that wasn’t enough there’s also a streamlined hood which can be easily adjusted with a single pull with gold embroidered branding to the chest and sleeves.
A collection of Mantis bags are also included in the drop, two waist bags & a backpack. The Mantis 2 waistbag features the same colourblocking design as the Beta Series jacket and features 100% recycled polyester packcloth. The Mantis 26 backpack offers technical outdoor functionality with loads of functional pockets & handy little features like an internal sleeve which can be used for a hydration reservoir or a laptop.
