Carhartt WIP Heads To The Trails of Mount Etna For SS23

A Selection of Outdoor-Leaning Items

Carhartt WIP head to Mount Etna, Sicily with photographer Gianluca Normanno to capture their latest collection of outdoors-leaning garb for SS23.

“A selection of outdoors-leaning items” is how Carhartt WIP have described their latest drop for SS23. Merging their streetwear & workwear heritage with a collection of outdoors inspired “gear & garb” (our own tagline), the Trail collection has something for the traditional Carhartt WIP fans as well as the new generation of outdoors enthusiasts and trail trekkers.

Photographed by Gianluca Normanno on Mounta Etna in Sicily, the SS23 editorial captures the European arm of the classic workwear brands’ latest Trail offerings. Highlights of the drop include new styles such as the Council Pant which feature a classic fatigue fit and a lightweight canvas fabric. The Women’s Skyler Liner is also a new addition for the latest season, a sustainable spin on the classic liner silhouette which features a recycled polyester ripstop. Looser fitting garments provide extra function with colourway inspiration from lumen flower prints. On the outerwear side of things there’s the Wynton Jacket & Parka which features a midweight cotton ripstop fabric. The classic Michigan jacket gets garment dyed in a new ‘storm blue’ colourway & hooded sweatshirts get the ‘dusty brown’ treatment.
