The Japanese performance brand, Goldwin, return for SS23 with a collection of technical garb geared up for the great outdoors, athletes & lifestyle.

If you’ve been into your clothes for as long as we have you’ll probably agree that there’s always been something pretty special about the Japanese stuff. There’s a unique aesthetic & when its teamed up with performance fabrics the end result is always going to be pretty good. Brands like Goldwin have really set the bar as far as Japanese technical brands are concerned and the latest drop for SS23 from the Tokyo based brand is no different.

Split into 3 sections; outdoor, athletes & lifestyle the collection boasts everything from Cordura Rip-Stop hiking pants to GORE-TEX PACLITE field jackets for various terrains & functions. Pertex Shieldair 3L features across shell pants, caps & shell jackets, a lightweight waterproof fabric that allows the wearer to keep cool in hot and humid conditions. Jackets are given the Pertex Unlimited 2 Layer treatment for a water-resistant, windproof and breathable fabric. Hiking trousers feature a robust CORDURA nylon fabric with a mobility focused function & hiking shirts are given a water-resistance coating to withstand light rain.

For the sweaty athletes there’s WF-Quick Dry t-shirts which feature a double faced fabric which boast sweat absorption, quick drying, antibacterial and deodorizing properties. Running inspired windbreakers feature running-specific functions such as lightness & breathability as well as their own handy stuff sack for easy storage.

On the lifestyle side there’s hooded overcoats in Ny/Pe Split Yarn Taffeta fabrics which are exclusively made in Japan. GORE-TEX PACLITE 2L field jackets combine functionality with a minimal design for a more “casual” approach to performance outerwear. Denim pants feature an 11Oz Organic Cotton fabric with a tapered design for a more relaxed fit. Finally there’s the wholegarment cardigan which features an Eco Delta Peak, a multi-functional knitted fabric which is soft & lightweight for everyday use.
