Carhartt WIP are back for the latest season with loads of classic workwear, military influences, winter ready accessories & their latest Wiles Check for AW23.
If there’s one brand that literally “keeps it real” it’s got to be Carhartt WIP. Whether you’re at a Loyle Carner concert or on a street corner somewhere down Tibb Street, Carhartt WIP as a brand is never too far from the eye. As trends come and go Carhartt WIP keeps it cool with an ongoing nod to their streetwear & workwear heritage that will always make you feel like your having it large on a mid 90s Parisian Banlieue whatever the weather. The thing is Carhartt WIP have been doing decent gear for as long as I can remember and this latest AW23 collection is no different.
As usual it’s all about them classic workwear pieces with OG Chore Coats and their iconic Michigan Coat which gets a winterised update in them classic Carhatt WIP hues such as Hamilton brown. Other outerwear offerings include cord overshirts, water repellent down jackets and lightweight technical numbers (yes I just referred to a jacket like a little slinky dress) like the Windbreaker Pullover which features a nylon Supplex® shell.
Pants come in a slightly baggier fit in line with current trouser trends with the introduction of new denim washes as well as outdoors ready silhouettes like the Cargo Jogger which features a robust ‘Columbia’ Ripstop fabric. There’s also a selection of staple sweats with the introduction of new colourways such as discovery green & glassy teal with garment dyed hoodies & ‘Heart Patch’ sweatshirts.
New graphic tees offer up new logo iterations from bubbles to mystery machines with the new ‘Wiles’ check story also appearing across overshirts & sweats. On the accessories side of things there’s the usual winter ready get up from beanies to balaclavas alongside cord caps & ‘Liquid Script’ logos.
