The NEMEN AW22 collection celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Italian technical brand with a range of garment dyed goodies & the usual military inspired silhouettes.
It’s mad how quick time flies. Rewind back to 2012 and it was all about Rudimental, snapbacks, Crooks & Castles, chinos & cannabis leaf socks. UK charts & trending streetwear aside it was also the same year Leonardo Fasolo started NEMEN. Having previously worked under the direction of Stone Island’s Carlo Rivetti at Milan’s European institute of design as well as Carlo Rivetti & Paul Harvey with brands like Stone Island, Fasolo came from an elite background of Italian sportswear design. Based in the heart of Italy’s design hub in Milan, NEMEN specialise in the handmade treatment of design in technical fabrication. NEMEN continue to push the boundaries of garment innovation with military inspiration and jackets that simply can’t be replicated by other brands. 2022 now marks the 10th anniversary of the Italian technical brand. Following on from their recent collaboration with PUMA & AC Milan, the NEMEN AW22 collection packs all the usual crazy colourways & garment dyed goodies.
For this very special anniversary collection NEMEN have worked alongside the artist. Leafcutter John, to create a unique pattern formula. Featuring across a range of garment dyed graphic t-shirts & face masks. There’s stand out pieces of the season like the Garment Dyed Goose Down Jacket which features a Nylon Hyperlines Jacquard fabric & recycled goose down insulation. There’s also NEMEN’s signature dyeing across 3L technical parka’s, garment dyed parachute overshirts, multipocketed parachute cargo pants that are water repellent & garment dyed sweatshirts that look like something the SWAT team wear on their days off. With hoods a plenty & Polatec Alpha fabrics, the 10th anniversary collection reminds us why we fell in love with brands like NEMEN in the first place. A massive thumbs up from the team at mint.
