The New Balance 327 ‘Crochet Pack’ draws inspiration from the craft technique for a fabric heavy retro runner drop for February 2024.

If there’s one thing New Balance know a thing or two about it’s trainer packs. With so many to list over the last 10 years with collectible NB classics like the ‘3 Peaks’ Pack from 2014 or the ‘Real Ale’ Pack from 2015, New Balance always seem to deliver the goods when it comes to releasing an exclusive trainer “pack”. This latest New Balance 327 ‘Crochet Pack’ is no different. Utilising one of their latest silhouettes, the 327, which was originally released during the global pandemic in 2020, the “old meets new” silhouette has become a bit of a mainstay on the ever changing trainer world.

Drawing inspiration from the NB running archives, mainly the New Balance 320 & the New Balance Super Comp, the 327 is a hybrid runner which was designed by the Manchester based designer, Charlotte Lee. Thanks to previous collabs with the likes of Casablanca & Levi’s the 327 has become just as popular for modern day sneaker fans as other NB classics like the 574 or the 550. With its 70s runner inspiration, retro kerb appeal & signature studded outsole (which originally appeared on the New Balance Super Comp) the 327 is one of a kind.

New Balance now introduce the 327 ‘Crochet Pack’ for February 2024. Drawing inspiration from the craft technique which uses a hooked needle to create fabric by interlocking loops of yarn or thread. Using the crochet aesthetic across the Charlotte Lee designed silhouette the end result is a fabric heavy 327 release. Featuring fluffy suede overlays with crochet inspired laces and oversized N branding to the sidewalls. Finished off with the trail inspired rugged lug outsole, the ‘Crochet Pack’ features a trio of colourways; Sea Salt, Rich Earth & Midnight Green.
