Stone Island Nylon Metal in ECONYL® Regenerated Nylon

Adding a Sustainable Spin To The Legendary Nylon Metal Fabric

The Stone Island Nylon Metal in ECONYL® Regenerated Nylon fabric adds a sustainable spin to the now legendary Nylon Fabric which first came on the scene back in 2013.

Carlo Rivetti and the Stone Island design team are at it again with another fabric that sounds like something Nasa astronauts would wear for an afternoon nap time on the International Space Station. Technically it isn’t, but technically it is about as innovative as it gets when it comes to the very latest in garment tech. For the latest season the compass logo brand introduces Nylon Metal in ECONYL® Regenerated Nylon. The latest spin on their now legendary Nylon Metal fabric which first came on the technical outerwear scene 9 years ago back in 2013. Previously used across everything from military inspired overshirts to collaboration tracksuits with brands like Supreme, Nylon Metal is back with the latest ECONYL® version.

Putting a sustainable spin on the now legendary Nylon Metal fabric, the shiny metallic material boasts an iridescent aesthetic courtesy of the garment dyeing treatment. Now with the introduction of ECONYL® regenerated yarns which utilises recycled nylon through a complex depolymerization process. Highlights of the collection includes the Nylon Metal in ECONYL® Regenerated Nylon Down Jacket which features EIDERDOWN insulation and an overstitch visor hood for that classic Stoney hooded look. There’s also a collection of garment dyed overshirts, PrimaLoft®-TC knitwear & garment dyed cargo pants. Each style is finished off with the iconic compass badge.
