Creative director Teddy Santis & New Balance return for another very special ‘Made in USA’ drop featuring 40th anniversary 990 trainers & a collection of East Coast inspired apparel.
After joining New Balance as creative director for their ‘Made in USA’ line in 2021, Teddy Santis has added a whole new dimension to the “no fuss” sportswear brand. Born in Queens, New York, Santis took over the New York streetwear scene with Aimé Leon Dore, previously working with New Balance on the likes of 550, the 997 & the 1300. These collaborations have taken New Balance to the next level on the global sneaker game, with NB enthusiasts, resellers & collectors going crazy for anything New Balance x Aimé Leon Dore. It’s pretty clear with anything that Santis and NB do together there is an appreciation & understanding of the heritage of the Boston born sportswear label. Reviving archive silhouettes & staple sportswear styles the Teddy Santis x New Balance ‘Made in USA’ collection now returns for Season 2 for October 2022.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, Teddy Santis & New Balance now re-introduce the celebrated runner. NB styles like the 990v3 continue to remain a mainstay on the sneaker world, boasting state of the art trainer tech like ENCAP sole technology. Now introduced in a previously unreleased olive colourway highlights of the drop include a mixture of mesh & premium pigskin uppers with the addition of hairy suede to the heel counter. The olive & tan colourway theme continues with the 990v1 & 990v2 which are also given the Teddy Santis treatment.
