The C.P. Company KAN-D Jacket Returns For SS23

The Candy Wrapper Inspired Fabric is Back For 2023

The latest C.P. Company KAN-D release features a military inspired field jacket with a contrasting lining to enhance the transparency of the innovative fabric even more.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary back in 2021, C.P. Company has given us everything from state of the art garment dyed fabrics to putting a pair of goggles into a hood. It was the late Massimo Osti that founded the brand back in 1981, alongside brands like Stone Island, with revolutionary dyeing techniques, military influences & even his very own magazine. C.P. continues to push the boundaries of fabric research & textile innovation some 50 years later. Now under the direction of Massimo’s son, Lorenzo Osti, which is something like the equivalent of Ole Gunnar Solskjær becoming the manager of Man Utd for the nostalgic 90s fans, the Chester Perry brand now turns its attention once again to KAN-D.

First introduced back in 2020, KAN-D (Klear Achronic Nylon Dyed) is a transparent mono-filament nylon that resembles cellophane candy wrappers from the 1950s & 60s. Featuring across a range of unique, one of a kind outerwear, KAN-D is one of the most challenging fabric the design team at C.P. Company has ever worked with. The transparency of the fabric & each induvial garment requires great care in the sewing process as every single seam is clearly visible.

At C.P. COMPANY we believe that the way a garment is made is an intrinsic part of its beauty. The KAN-D pieces are the perfect example.

KAN-D now returns for SS23 with even more transparency than previous releases. Now introduced in a military inspired field jacket, paired with a contrasting lining to enhance the transparency of the fabric. Available in two truly striking colourways, turquois & bright orange the KAN-D jacket also features a concealable hood which is also detachable as well as C.P.s latest lens branding to the right sleeve. The C.P. Company KAN-D jacket is available now direct from cpcompany.com.
